Hi, my name is Rachael Smith and I am a Team Manager here at Barbour ABI. I've been working here since 1993 - almost 15 years! During this time, I was instrumental in setting up our Subcontract team in 1998 and have also worked in Telemarketing, Research, IT and Client Management so I have a wide range of company experience.
Interesting facts about me - in my spare time I am a singer and often perform at local venues and charity events - I also play the piano and guitar. I love films and music and am currently studying Spanish too.

Hi, my name is Liz McCarthy and I am a Senior Client Manager here at Barbour ABI. I've been working here since 1989 - almost 19 years! I started when the company was based in a small office in Birkenhead and have seen the company grow from strength to strength.
Interesting facts about me - I love foreign holidays and take at least three a year - on one of which I take my 9 year old Granddaughter Lauren with me. I love cruising - and my main ambition is to do a world cruise!

Hi, my name is Lynsey Oxton and I have been working within the Client Management team for 10 months. I started working at Barbour ABI nearly 3 years ago within the Subcontract team in our Research department - I came over to Client Management on a 3 month secondment and have been here ever since! It's challenging but rewarding, and I really enjoy talking to all of my customers.
Interesting facts about me - in my spare time, I like to spend time with my family and friends as well as organising my 8 year old little boys social life! I also enjoy going to the cinema, swimming and camping.

Hi, my name is Maria Oxton and I am the Deputy Manager within the Client Management team here at Barbour ABI. I've been working here since 1996 - almost 12 years - and since being with the company I have achieved a great working relationship with both my customers and colleagues.
Interesting facts about me - I am happily married to Mike and together we try to guide my daughter Gemma who is now 18. We are a very sociable family and those of you that know me well will know about my passion for taking the odd family holiday or two throughout the year!

Nathalie Armitage

Hello, I am Nathalie Armitage and I work within the Client Management team here at Barbour ABI. I am one of nine Client Managers who has been been working within the team for four years. I currently job share with Melanie Roberts - I work the first part of the week and Melanie works the second half.
I was born and raised in France although have been living in the UK for 15 years. I'm married with an 8-year old daughter and am also a member of the City of Chester Swimming Club. I also enjoy cycling, cooking and reading.

Hi, my name is Gill Smith and I’m the new girl in the team! I am delighted to be in Client Management, and having previously come from a commercial property data company as an Account Manager, it is an industry and a role that I am very passionate about.
Interesting facts about me - I am married with two teenagers (or 3 counting my husband!) and together with a large extended family and friends, spend my free time in a social whirl of eating, drinking, shopping, entertaining and constant ‘taxi’ service that 2 children demand.

Hi, my name is Simon Mealor and at 21, I am the youngest member of the Client Management team here at Barbour ABI. I've been working with the company for nearly 12 months now - I'm finding it challenging but rewarding - I really enjoy talking to all of my customers.
Interesting facts about me - in my spare time I enjoy playing and watching football (I am an avid Liverpool supporter and am hoping for some silverware this year!) as well as sometimes getting myself to the gym. I also enjoy cooking in my spare time as I previously trained as a chef before having a career change to sales.

Hi, my name is Rachel Gough and I am a Client Manager within the Client Management Department. I joined the team in February this year after having gained 7 years Sales experience in the Motor Industry and Estate Agency in the Chester area.
Interesting facts about me - I have a dog and a boyfriend who keep me quite busy, but if I do get time to myself I enjoy going to the gym or go running, going to the pictures, I love going to concerts (I'm a bit of a rocker at heart!), I'm mad about Formula 1 and also like 3 day Eventing as it something I used to do but no longer have the time.

Hi, my name is Julia Portsmouth and I work in Barbour ABI’s client management team. I joined them in September this year after spending an exhausting 11 years on the roads as a rep for various companies, from telecoms to sunglasses! I am really enjoying it here learning about the business and getting to know my clients and colleagues – I don’t miss the M6 at all!
Interesting facts about me - I spend my spare time with my friends and boyfriend, or at the gym where I sometimes teach a ‘spinning’ class. I also love to cook, and being a Cornish girl, I make a wicked Cornish pasty!
